A typical work day involves expecting the unexpected. I never have the same day twice, and that keeps me on my toes. I enjoy working with clients and making sure that their needs are met with ease and affability. The best skills that I bring to my job are being detail-oriented and approachable.
When I was ten years old, I wanted to be a veterinarian. My father took that to heart and bought me books to study so I could get ahead of the game. However, I soon realized that it wasn’t just about hugging puppies and kittens all day. I still love animals so that probably explains why I’ve had nine cats. I have no shame in being the Cat Lady of Caprock.
The person that makes me laugh the most is my husband. After over 20 years of marriage, he still surprises me with his great sense of humor.
For Karaoke night, I would sing “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” Long live the ’80s!
If I had to pick one character trait for how I want people to remember me, I hope it would be that I was kind. In my opinion, I don’t think there are many other traits that can top that.
