My wife and I love to spend time outdoors with our two kids. Camping and enjoying time away from our busy life has become a big part of the work-life balance we try to maintain.
The Nature Conservancy and Humane Society are two causes I have always supported.
My fascination with finance started in 1999 as I began day-trading and thought I could get rich quick by investing in the tech company explosion. Fast forward to 2001 and my day-trade account was empty, but I had a new-found appreciation for capital markets and the constant changes they have endured over the past century. This business allows me to work in an intellectually stimulating environment and utilize creativity and innovation to tackle the consistent barrage of challenges. It also gives me the opportunity to work with a diverse mix of industry thought leaders that constantly challenge the “status quo” as we think of new ways to achieve financial goals.
When I was ten years old, I wanted to be an astronaut. A good portion of my childhood was spent looking through a telescope and reading about astronomy.
On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me cooking breakfast for my kids and drinking a large mug of black coffee.
