Caprock Adds Managing Director to Park City Office
Leading Wealth Manager Provides Added Leadership to Growing
Multi-Family Office Wealth Management Firm
(PARK CITY, UT) – Caprock announced today that Jeff Gumeson, CFA, formerly a Vice President at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, has joined the firm as a Managing Director. Gumeson becomes part of the leadership team of the firm’s Park City office and will provide wealth management expertise firm-wide.

Prior to becoming part of Caprock, Jeff was a Vice President at the J.P. Morgan Private Bank, responsible for advising high net worth individuals, families, and foundations on maintaining, growing and transferring generational wealth. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Jeff was a Partner in the launch of Booth Creek Capital, LP, a long/short equity hedge fund in Vail, Colorado, and a Senior Analyst at Madison Street Partners, a value-oriented hedge fund in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Prior to managing alternative asset portfolios, Jeff spent nine years at Invesco, a mutual fund company, where he was responsible for making investment recommendations for the multi-billion dollar Invesco Technology Sector Fund.

Jeff received his B.S. in Business Finance at the University of Utah in 1998 and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2004. Jeff was a member of the U.S. Freestyle Ski team and competed at the World Cup Level.
