Background:

Jefferson is a successful entrepreneur, executive, advisor, and attorney. He brings nearly twenty years of experience advising clients and organizations. Jefferson joined Caprock after founding, growing, and selling a regional software development firm to a large international IT consulting company. Prior to his company’s acquisition, he oversaw two successful spin-outs and several company investments while garnering national attention for the company’s innovative work.

Throughout his career, Jefferson has advised hundreds of large and small companies on mission-critical technology and business strategy matters. In 2009, Jefferson was appointed by the Governor of the State of Idaho to chair a working group tasked with accelerating regional innovation and technology transfer. His experience includes advising venture capital and private equity firms, serving on the board of directors of multiple venture-backed startups, and he currently serves on the board of a large hospital foundation.

Earlier in his career, Jefferson practiced corporate law, M&A, and project finance for a large national law firm where he gained valuable transactional and international finance experience. He is a graduate of UCLA and was a John M. Olin, Student Scholar of Law and Economics at Cornell Law School.

Jefferson’s focus is advising businesses, entrepreneurs, executives, and families to help them successfully navigate complex opportunities and challenges.
