Who is your hero? My hero is my mother, Kristi. She is the strongest, most caring, and resilient person I have ever known. If I can be half the mother she is, one day, that would be a tremendous honor.
What is your proudest accomplishment? My proudest accomplishment has been obtaining my Bachelor’s degree. I was the first in my family to go to college, and I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I plan to continue with my education and foster the act of being a learner for life.
What is something you would like to learn? I would love to learn to play the piano and master a foreign language!
If I could be anywhere…. I would be at The Museu Picasso in Barcelona, Spain. I traveled to Barcelona when I was seventeen years old, and I was fascinated by all the artwork in this museum. The museum is designed to have the visitors enter through Pablo Picasso’s earliest works and end at his latest; seeing the progression of these works was incredible. I frequently reminisce on my time in Spain and would love to have this experience again.
What motivates you? I am motivated by my 11 siblings. I am the oldest of the bunch, and setting a good example and being a mentor of sorts for all of my siblings is my greatest joy. My siblings range from twenty-four to ten years old, so they constantly keep me on my toes. My siblings are bold, honest, intelligent, and unique, which provides constant motivation and challenge. I love them all dearly and would not trade them for the world!
